Representatives of the Republic of Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels have started a New Year's marketing campaign, plastered over billboards in the Belgian capital's busiest locations.
Over the past few days billboards and posters were put up in railway stations, on Schuman Square in front of the European Commission and EU Council's head offices, and on Luxembourg Square, the location European Parliament.
'The purpose of the campaign is to show the citizens of Brussels that the Republic of Srpska has opened its offices, and to explain our constitutional and geographical position within Bosnia and Herzegovina', said Mario Uragic, the entity's chief representative in Brussels.
Brussels is flooded with posters reading 'Republic of Srpska is now in Brussels and wishes you a happy New Year' and 'With representation in Brussels, the Republic of Srpska is closer than ever'.
Also on the posters is a map of the European Union with the RS specially marked.

Ne očekujem nešto puno od ovog predstavništva, ali je dobar markentinški potez. Reklama je uvijek dobro došla.
