Kratko i jebitacno! 8)

A ozbljnije - felne su genijalne! Zanimjivo izgledaju i ovi prosireni blatobrani i pragovi ofarbani u boju auta. Vidio sam nesto slicno na slici i stvarno izgleda odlicno. A nije tako ni skupo da se uradi kod lakirera, ali koji ce mi to... :)
Mene vise zanimaju sljedece stvari - veci turbo (trenutno takav ide u SS) sa potencijalom do ~230KS, mjenjac sa duplim kvacilom (nesto kao DSG) i TTC (elektricna spera) > fala qrcu da su se sjetili... Mogao bi ovo da bude zaeban autic 8)
Vidjecu kako izgleda uzivo i kako se ponasa na cesti - uvijek mogu da mijenjam svoga za ovakvoga. Taman da pokvarim forumski prosjek :lol:

Mercedes-Benz has released details regarding its new lightweight 5.5-litre twin turbo V8 engine. The engine was speculated upon late last year and now is confirmed as reality. It will be used in certain AMG models, the first being the S 63 AMG from this summer.

The new 5.5-litre, codenamed the M157, replaces the current 6.3-litre (6208cc) naturally aspirated V8 which has been doing duty in cars like the C 63 AMG, the CLS 63 AMG, the E 63 AMG, the S 63 AMG and the CL 63 AMG.

Power is rated at 400kW (544 PS / 536 bhp) at 5,500rpm and peak torque is a massive 800Nm (590 lb-ft) made between 2,000rpm and 4,500rpm. An even more powerful version with the AMG Performance Package of the 204kg engine will produce 420kW (571 PS / 563 bhp) and 900Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. Both will be mated to Merc's 7-speed MCT transmission which helps the less powerful model achieve 26.9mpg (UK) in average fuel consumption.

According to Autocar, a smaller 4.6-litre version of the engine, also sporting two turbos, will be used for the new CLS and S-Class derivatives later this year.

Lumma Design wants to turn heads when it takes the wraps off this stunning CLR X 650 M at the Geneva Motor Show. The beast is based on the BMW X6 M but with vast underlying differences.

Using the same twin turbo V8 found in the 408kW (555 PS / 547 hp) factory vehicle, Lumma engineers managed to pull out 478kW (650 PS / 641 hp) and mammoth torque of 830Nm (612 lb-ft). The top speed also increased with power to 312km/h (184 mph).

Lumma Design credits the improvements to "catalyst replacement pipes," a sports exhaust system with four tailpipes, and extra work on the engine electronics. Grip is provided by wide ultra high-performance Michelin tyres running on 23-inch Blackline Monoblock wheels. The suspension has been lowered by 40 millimetres.

The aerodynamic kit is made up of pieces like a front fascia with the LED daytime running lights, wheel house extensions, side skirts, a new rear spoiler and rear fascia.

Interior appointments include a leather/ ultra-suede covered sports steering wheel, aluminium pedals and foot rests, as well as a Lumma speedometer that reads up to 360km/h (224 mph).

The Nissan Navara and Pathfinder have been given facelifts and we have the details. Nissan says the Navara has been Europe's best-selling pickup since its launch. It wants to keep that going by making the car and its SUV sibling more attractive.

Exterior changes include new front bumpers that give an extra 80mm to both vehicles, a new bonnet, a revised front grille, new headlamp styling and a different rear bumper. Also on offer are new 18-inch wheels to compliment existing ones.

The interior benefits from revised door trims, more tactile armrests and door pads, redesigned dials, the addition of chrome highlights and a new all-wheel-drive command control switch for the Pathfinder. Other nice items include the Nissan Connect Premium with a new high resolution touch screen, a 40GB hard drive and an optional Bose sound system.

Big news on the engine front is the new 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel developed in cooperation with partner Renault. It makes 170kW (231PS / 228 hp) and peak torque of 550Nm (406 lb-ft) from 1700rpm up to 2500rpm. Nissan says 500Nm (369 lb-ft) is already on tap from 1500rpm.

The 2.5-litre dCi also went to engineering for some extra beef. Power has been upped to 140kW (190 PS / 188 hp) and torque is now 450Nm (332 lb-ft). It delivers an average of 8.5l/100km while C02 emissions are rated at 224 g/km.

Nissan unveils the facelift Navara and Pathfinder at Geneva 2010 and European sales start in April. Sales of models fitted with the V6 diesel only start around June.

Engineers at G-Power have created a new set of mods for the BMW 7-Series F01. The tuning outfit will be selling the G-Power 760i Storm as a made-to-order level of customization for new buyers.

The modifications rotate around changes to the turbocharger unit. The 6.0-liter V12 engine is normally mated with the bi-turbo "TwinPower" stock unit from BMW. Instead, G-Power tapped engineers at ASA to create radial compressors (turbo charger compressor units) that work off the crankshaft, thus increasing their output.

Turbo boost pressure goes up from 0.5 bar to 0.9 bar, and the added injection valves and exhaust lead to an extra 181 PS (133 kW / 179 hp). The car now has access to 725 PS (533 kW / 715 hp) and up to 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque from 2,000 rpm, in part thanks to a remapped engine computer. Changes were also made to the OEM eight-speed transmission.

0-100 km/h now takes 4.2 seconds, with 200 km/h (124 mph) being recorded in 11.9 seconds. Top speed registers at 345 km/h (214 mph). These speeds are also helped by new aerodynamics at the front skirt, bonnet, side skirts, doors, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler. With the new springs, the car is dropped by 30 mm. The car now rides on 9.5x22 front and 10.5x22 three-piece aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin tires.

Only 10 units of the G-Power 760i Storm will be produced. Pricing was not disclosed.

Fiat Powertrain Technologies will unveil its next-generation engine at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The TWIN-AIR engine features Fiat's electro-hydraulic valve management MultiAir system combined with special fluid dynamics optimised for the best fuel efficiency. This two-cylinder turbocharged 1.2-litre 8V motor range will deliver between 48kW (65 PS) and 77kW (105 PS) and is said to release up to just 95 g/km in CO2 emissions. Maximum torque is available at very low revs per minute.

Because it is so compact in size, approximately 23% shorter and 10% lighter compared to a 4-cylinder of equal performance and displacement, extra applications being considered for it include hybrid technology or a methane fuel feed.

The first car to get the TWIN-AIR engine will be the Fiat 500. Available in July, the TWIN-AIR 500 produces 63 kW (85 PS) consumes 15% less fuel and has 25% more performance than the 1.2-liter 8v which achieves in the combined cycle 5.1 L/100 km (55 mpg imp / 46 mpg US). Compared to the 1.4 16-valve which achieves 6.3 L/100 km (45 mpg imp / 37 mpg US) fuel consumption drops 30%.

Look for more precise figures to be released in Geneva.

Steta sto odusatju od 63 AMG - trenutno je to najjaci atmosferski V8 na svijetu. Jbg, eko-fasisti sj*base MB...
Ali obrtni momenat ce da bude bolestan - bas me zanima kakav je osjecaj voziti ovakvo nesto na mokrom 8)

i ja sam hteo reći nešto slično za 6.3 atmosferski...obzirom da su ga bili digli na 570 KS, koliko je imao u SLS-u, trebali su ga ostaviti u ponudi...kao što si rekao: ipak je to najjači atmosferac na svijetu. ovako...ekologija, pi*ka materina ... učiniše svoje :(

O jebemti pa šta je ovo dvocilindraš, kako je krenulo uskoro ćemo kosačice vozati.
Ipak je Zastava bila u pravu krajem 80-ih kad su vidjeli budućnost u turbo motorima pa napravili jugu turbo koji nikad nije zaživio nažaalost.

The Abt R8 GT R is on its way to the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. This supercar is of course based on the Audi R8 V10 but with a few performance enhancements. Only 25 units will be produced.

"The R8 GT R is an uncompromising racing car for the road, and provides maximum performance," says company founder Christian Abt

Changes include the following carbon fibre components: the bonnet, the front apron, side mirrors, door panels, rear apron, the rear wing and the tailgate. A total of 100kg have been shaved off the standard car.

To make it more hardcore things like Recaro racing seats, 4-point seat belt system, stainless steel roll-over bar with seat belt attachment and even a hand-held fire extinguisher are available. The suspension system is adjustable for height while the brakes are ceramic-based.

The 5.2-litre V10 has had its power bumped from 386kW (525 PS / 518 hp) to a hot 456kW (620 PS / 612 hp). It will help the Abt R8 GT R sprint from 0 - 100km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach 200km/h (124 mph) in 9.9 seconds.

Details and pictures of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera have been released. The "superlight" Gallardo has made extensive use of carbon fibre to shed even more weight than the LP 560-4 on which it is based. Seventy kilograms (154 lbs) has been slashed from the normal car, making the LP 570-4 Superleggera Lamborghini's lightest road-going car.

Power is sourced from a 5.2-litre V10 with an aluminium crankcase and dry sump lubrication. It makes 419kW (570 PS / 562 hp) at 8,000rpm, giving the car an 80.5 kW (109 PS / 108 hp) per litre specific power output. Maximum torque is 540 Nm (398 ft-lbs) at 6,500rpm. Lamborghini is fitting the 6-speed e-gear as standard but can offer customers a no-cost manual as an option. The sprint times are 0 - 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and 0 - 200km/h (124 mph) in 10.2 seconds. Top velocity is 325km/h (202 mph). In addition, fuel consumption and C02 emissions have been cut by 20.5% when compared to the previous car.

The bodyshell is made from aluminium while parts like the exterior mirror casings, the sills, rear spoiler and diffuser are carbon fibre. The windscreen and side windows are constructed out of polycarbonate. Lambo remodelled the front bumper for increased air flow and downforce. As indicated by the number 4 in its name, the LP 570-4 Superleggera has permanent AWD and a 45% limited slip differential on the rear. Grip is provided by 235/35 ZR19 Pirelli P Zero tyres at the front and 295/30 ZR19s at the rear.

Carbon fibre is also used extensively in the interior, with items such as the centre tunnel cover, the door panels and the gearlever surround all being made from the material. Alcantara is also pasted around the cabin and on the sports seats.

Customers won't just enjoy the extreme performance but some luxury gadgets as well, including air conditioning, a rear view camera, electric powered windows and a satellite navigation system.
