Imam Golfa I 1.6 JGLD (1.6 D) i Skodu Fabia 1.9 SDI i svaki put se iznenadim kad poslije Fabije vozim Golfa. Bolje receno kao da sam poslije dilezasa sjeo u benzinca. Koliko se ja razumijem u mehaniku ta dva motora su konstruktivno veoma slicna i ne vidim razliku zasto bi 1.6 D bolje vukao od 1.9 SDI koji je noviji i ima vise kilovata. Moze li to da bude do softvera ili nedovoljne razradjenosti motora????

Nisam ni znao sta je SDI, a interesovalo me. Mislim da ovde lezi odgovor:
Suction Diesel Injection (SDI)[1] is a design of naturally aspirated diesel engine developed and produced by the Volkswagen Group for use in cars, vans, sailboats and a variety of industrial applications. These engines are produced in various sizes (from 1.7 to 2.5 litres) and states of tune, depending on application.
The SDI engine is used in applications where reliability and fuel economy are of primary concern. Because these engines lack any form of forced induction, their power output is low compared to a similar turbocharged engine. For example, the 2.0 SDI engine fitted to the Volkswagen Golf Mk5 has a peak power output of 74 bhp; whereas the same engine in turbocharged TDI form is rated at 138 or 168 bhp (125 kW/170 PS), depending on specification. However, performance at very low engine speeds and when setting off from stationary is often superior to forced induction engines due to the lack of turbo lag.[2]
The 1.9 SDI engine, fitted to the first generation Škoda Octavia, is particularly popular amongst taxi drivers due to its low fuel consumption and ability to cover large mileages (250,000+ miles) without requiring major mechanical attention

Uzrok za ovo je u tome kako ga god ti gazio po gasu on ide po svome :).

U sustini moze se reci da je 1.6 D=SDI pa me to najvise cudi.

Mozda je u pitanju subjektivno misljenje jer je Golf vjerovatno "razdrndaniji" pa kad npr. njega vozis 100 km/h osjecas se isto kao da u Fabiji ides lupam 120 km/h. Ista stvar je i kod starta, mada tu kod Fabije moze biti nesto manji obrtni moment pa... Ma kome se da nek trazi te podatke :)
