Slusa li neko post-punk, deathrock, batcave, gothic rock, psychobilly i sl? U posljednje vrijeme je nastala poplava kvalitetnih bendova (koje ne mogu sve da pohvatam) poput Cinema Strange, Miguel and the Living Dead, Bloody, Dead and Sexy, Zombina and the Skeletones, All Gone Dead...
Od starijih tu su jos Alien Sex Fiend, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ausgang itd.
Jos da spomenem i bl. bend Daltoni, koji su bili u nekom psychobilly fazonu. Nije neka kvaliteta, ali je vrijedno spomena.

U sustini, "batcave" nije pravac, iako mnogi koriste ovaj naziv da klasifikuju svoju ili neciju muziku, vec vise predstavlja zbirni naziv za sve zanrove iz prvog posta. Ovo je i meni zadavalo glavobolju.
Evo copy/paste sa Wikipedije gdje pise kako je termin nastao i sta je znacio:

The Batcave was a nightclub in London, England at Meard Street Soho. It is considered as the birthplace of the english goth subculture. As one of the most famous meeting points for early goths, it lent its name to the term Batcaver, used to describe fans of the original gothic rock/ deathrock music. The term Batcave is also still used by Europeans to refer to Gothic music with a prominent Post-Punk sound and spooky atmospheres.

The club opened in July 1982. Originally specialising in New Wave and Glam rock, it later focused on Gothic rock. Ollie Wisdom, the lead singer in the house band, Specimen, ran the club with the assistance of production manager Hugh Jones. Famous regulars at the Batcave included legends such as Robert Smith, Siouxsie Sioux, Foetus, Marc Almond, Nick Cave and Danielle Dax.

A diverse array of bands would play at the club, backed up by their resident DJs Hamish McDonald and Annie Hogan ( Marc Almond band member). The bands involved electronic leading act Alien Sex Fiend led by Alice Cooper influenced vocalist Nik Fiend, the host's band Specimen who took ample influence from 1970s glam rock and Sex Gang Children a group who would go on to prove influential in deathrock, dark cabaret and gothic rock movements. The club also showed black and white movies in the old theatre and occasionally featured unusual cabaret. Much of the image and fashion used by the subculture can be traced back to the bands who played at the Batcave.

In recent times, newer bands from the deathrock subgenre of Goth have began to once more describe their music as "Batcave", it must be noted that these bands are generally from non-English speaking countries, though the original bands who played at the club have had their style dubbed as "Batcave" and so in some sense the term is accurate.

Zapravo mogao bih se barem u neku ruku svrstati u "batcave"-re. :lol: :lol: Joy Division su bili jedni od najvećih, i njihov uticaj na moderni rok je nemjerljiv. Skoro je izašao neki film o njima, negdje sam pročitao da živi članovi kažu da u filmu ima dosta neistina ali da im se ipak dopada. Baš ću morati da nađem taj film.

Nisam ga gledao, ali sudeci prema nekim relevantnim kritikama i kriticarima - ne bi trebalo da bude los.

Od JD omiljene stvari su mi Walked In Line i Dead Souls.
Svidja mi se i elektro obrada A Means To An End, od Bakterielle Infektion.
Inace, pored ostalih, treba izdvojiti dvije knjige o Ianu Curtisu i JD: jedna njegove zene Deborah Curtis, Touching From a Distance: Ian Curtis and Joy Division, po kojoj je valjda i snimljen Control i druga, novija: Mick Middles i Lindsay Reade, Torn Apart: The Life of Ian Curtis.
Btw. izdali su dva albuma: Unknown Pleasures (1979) i Closer (1980). Pored ovoga, nekoliko EP-a, zatim izdanje iz ranije Warsaw "faze", onda Still (1981) itd.

Koliko znam nije Jude Law glumio Iana, bar u ovom posljednjem filmu.

Ima li neko sabrana djela Bauhausa, posto mi se disk sa njihovim mp3-cama izlizao, a nisam mislio na vrijeme i prebacio sadrzaj na hd. Neki trejd ili sl.

Taj film nisam gledao, ali sam čitao prošle godine da je on u pitanju. U redu, vjerovatno raspolažeš tačnijim informacijama, pošto to baš i ne pratim.

bauhaus sam imao na kasetama, davno je to bilo. Ovo sad što imam na pc je možda nekoliko stvari. Znači ništa od mene, truba... :drinking:
